Let’s talk wine. As a certified sommelier and wine director, I love wine and leading others to discover or embrace their love of wine-without pretension or condescension. I also love helping others to prepare for the various wine certification examinations they may take. To that end, on this site we will explore different wine regions, styles and grapes with a focus on preparing for examinations through the Court of Master Sommeliers.
We will also feature wines that are decidedly not part of these tests because they are delicious and because we can learn about them for fun, rather than because we have too.
